On July 1, 2025, Sanjo Chasuian, a unique cultural experience facility combining the Japanese tea ceremony and sake tasting, officially opened in the Karasuma Oike area of Kyoto.
Operated by Konishi Shoten Co., Ltd., the parent company of hotel GOCO stay, Sanjo Chasuian offers immersive programs tailored especially for international guests, with explanations and guidance provided in English.

【Tea Ceremony Experience】
Duration: 60 minutes
With easy-to-understand explanations in English, even first-time participants can enjoy the experience with peace of mind. Session times (6 times per day): 10:00 / 11:15 / 12:30 / 14:30 / 15:45 / 17:00.

Special Opening Price for House Guests (until September 15): Adults ¥3,800 (tax included), Children (ages 7–12) ¥2,600 (tax included).

【Japanese Sake Tasting Experience】
Duration: 90 minutes
This is a tasting experience where you can enjoy 8 carefully selected types of sake, each paired with a complementary snack. A sake sommelier dressed in traditional Japanese attire will explain how sake is made, its characteristics, and how to choose the right sake for yourself.
Session times (3 times per day): 11:30 / 14:30 / 17:00 (Reservation required by the day before).
